Εορτή του Αγίου Μάμα – Τέλεση του Εσπερινού στην Μόρφου 1.9.2016

Έχοντας γίνει πλέον μια ωραία ετήσια παράδοση προσευχής και συνάντησης, την 1η Σεπτεμβρίου 2016, ο Σεβασμιότατος Αρχιεπίσκοπος παρέστη στον εσπερινό επ’ ευκαιρία της εορτής του Αγίου Μάμα .

Μαζί με τον Παν ιερότατο Μητροπολίτη Μόρφου Νεόφυτο και τους άλλους Ιεράρχες προσευχήθηκαν για την ειρήνη και την συμφιλίωση στην Κύπρο μας και στην ευρύτερη περιοχή της Μέσης Ανατολής που ταλανίζεται από διενέξεις και διαμάχες . Μετά το πέρας του εσπερινού, ο Παν ιερότατος Μητροπολίτης ευχαρίστησε τον Αρχιεπίσκοπο Σουέηφ για την παρουσία του σε αυτές τις κατανυκτικές στιγμές προσευχής προς τον Πολιούχο Άγιο καθώς και για την αλληλεγγύη και αδελφοσύνη του εν Χριστώ.

Vespers of St Mama-Morphou, 01.09.2016

Becoming a nice tradition and a annual occasion of encounter, H.E. Archbishop Soueif participated in the vespers of Saint Mama feast in Morphou on the 01/09/2016.

The prayer was presided by the metropolis of Machaira Monastery and together with the Metropolis Morphou Neophitos and Metropolis Karpasia, the intentions were raised for the peace and reconciliation especially in these moments whereby the whole region is in deep need to live the values of fraternity and forgiveness. During the Vespers H.E. Nephitos ordained his general vicar who will assist him in the administration of the Eparchy of Morphou. At the end of the vespers, the Metropolis Neophitos thanked H.E. Archbishop Soueif for always being at his side in these strong moments of prayers expressing solidarity by strengthening the profound faith and witnessing God’s Love and Mercy.
