Εύχομαι ολόψυχα Χρόνια Πολλά στους απανταχού Μαρωνίτες. Σήμερα γιορτάζει ο Άγιος Μάρωνας, ιδρυτής και προστάτης της Κοινότητάς μας. Προσευχόμαστε στη χάρη του, να βοηθήσει όλο τον κόσμο. Να μας οπλίσει με υπομονή και σοφία για να αντέξουμε στα δύσκολα. Περάσαμε μια πρωτόγνωρα επίπονη χρονιά. Με αγωνίες, φόβο, δοκιμασίες και περιοριστικά μέτρα. Και ακόμη συνεχίζουμε. Μακριά από τα χωριά μας, μακριά από τα αγαπημένα μας πρόσωπα. Μακριά από τους γονείς και τους ηλικιωμένους μας. Η γιορτή του Αγίου Μάρωνα, παρά τις δυσκολίες, ευτυχώς μας φέρνει και την ελπίδα. Την ελπίδα ότι περνούμε τους τελευταίους μήνες της πανδημίας. Από τη μια οι μαζικοί εμβολιασμοί και από την άλλη τα μαζικά τεστ προοιωνίζουντον σταδιακό έλεγχο του κορωνοϊού και την επάνοδο στην ομαλότητα.
Την ίδια ώρα, μετά από τέσσερα χρόνια στασιμότητας, αρχίζει ξανά η κινητικότητα στο Κυπριακό. Ξαναγεννιέται η ελπίδα της πολυπόθητης λύσης. Που εμείς οι Μαρωνίτες τόσο πολύ θέλουμε. Η Πενταμερής που προγραμματίζεται για τον Μάρτιο και η πιθανή διάσκεψη τύπου Κραν Μοντανά το καλοκαίρι, βάζουν ξανά το Κυπριακό σε τροχιά λύσης. Στο πλαίσιο αυτής της διαδικασίας η Μαρωνιτική Κοινότητα είναι καλά προετοιμασμένη και πανέτοιμη να διεκδικήσει τα δίκαια της. Εκφράζουμε με τη σημερινή ευκαιρία της εορτής του Αγίου Μάρωνα την πλήρη στήριξη μας στον Πρόεδρο της Δημοκρατίας. Του ζητούμε να εργαστεί σκληρά και με ειλικρίνεια για την επίτευξη μιας βιώσιμης και λειτουργικής λύσης. Υπέρ όλων των Κυπρίων.

Happy Saint Maron Feast Day
I wholeheartedly wish Happy Feast Day of Saint Maron to all the Maronites of the world. Today we celebrate Saint Maron, the founder and the patron Saint of our Community. We pray for his grace to help the whole world. To arm us with patience and wisdom to endure hardships.
We have had an unprecedentedly painful year full of anxiety, fear, trials, and restrictive measures; and it still goes on. We have been and we continue to be away from our villages, away from our loved ones, away from our parents and the elderly.
Fortunately, despite the difficulties we are going through, the feast of Saint Maron brings us hope. The hope that we are getting through the last months of the pandemic. Mass vaccinations on the one hand and mass coronavirus tests on other hand assist to achieve the gradual control of the pandemic and the return to normalcy.
At the same time, after four years of stagnation, the efforts to resolve the Cyprus problem resume. The hope for the solution that we, Maronites, wish for and desire so much is reborn. The five-party meeting scheduled for March and the possible Crans-Montana model conference in the summer put the Cyprus problem back on track. As part of this process, the Maronite Community is well prepared and ready to claim its legitimate rights.
On the occasion of the feast of Saint Maron, we express our full support to the President of the Republic of Cyprus. We ask him to work hard and with honesty to achieve a viable and functional solution. A solution in favour of all Cypriots.
